The First Public Hydrogen Authority (FPH2) is seeking a request for proposals (RFP) for hydrogen transportation services. The competitive solicitation invites qualified vendors to deliver liquid and gaseous hydrogen from producers to offtakers across California, US. The RFP is open now, with proposals due 12 September 2025, by 3:00 PM PDT.
“FPH2 is ready to move hydrogen at scale and is looking for partners to make that possible,” said R. It is not just about trucks or trailers, it is about accelerating a hydrogen deployment.”
The RFP invites qualified bidders to propose solutions that align with FPH2’s mission of streamlining hydrogen procurement and infrastructure development. Proposals will be evaluated based on technical capabilities, cost-effectiveness, and ability to deliver lasting value for end users.
Vendors can access the RFP (No. 03-25) and submit proposals electronically through the PlanetBids portal. The solicitation covers hydrogen gas and liquid transport services and includes an online Q&A period open until 3 September 2025, at 3:00 PM PDT. Through the RFP, FPH2 is establishing a transparent process that brings together public and private partners to accelerate hydrogen adoption and deliver benefits directly to communities.
