Heven AeroTech, the leading hydrogen-powered drone manufacturer, integrating AI and quantum capabilities for next-generation flight, has announced the launch of its national, multi-site unmanned aerial system (UAS) manufacturing network with the opening of a regional 56 000 ft2 production facility in Winchester, Virginia, US. The opening is the company's first on the East Coast and builds on its established manufacturing foundation in the Columbia River Gorge.

The Virginia site serves as the operational blueprint for Heven AeroTech's phased rollout of a growing network of facilities nationwide, each planned to feature state-of-the-art hydrogen propulsion manufacturing capabilities. The long-term vision encompasses advanced hydrogen R&D labs, automated manufacturing infrastructure, and dedicated zones for co-located technology providers.

Beyond supporting the company's flagship Defense Innovation Unit Blue UAS Select Z1 hydrogen-powered drone production, the Virginia operation is further establishing the manufacturing processes, quality systems, supply chain infrastructure, and operational discipline required for long-term, scalable American-made UAS production.
Heven AeroTech will provide hundreds of jobs nationwide over the coming years as the multi-site network expands. Recruiting is ongoing as production ramps, with future hiring focused on manufacturing technicians, aircraft assembly, quality, operations, and supply chain roles.
