Renova, owned by 10 municipalities across Gothenburg in western Sweden, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with H2X Global who will build the company five commercial vehicles:

  • One 18 t back loader truck.
  • One 28 t demountable truck.
  • Three 3.5 t tail lift vehicles.

The agreement creates an opportunity for H2X Global to grow its operations in Scandinavia and become a prominent producer of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles in the region.

Renowned for its innovative strategies in industry and technology, Sweden has stated its ambition to become the world's first fossil-free state. To get there, carbon from the transport sector must be reduced, meaning that H2X's hydrogen vehicles will play a crucial role in helping the country achieve this goal.
