Hymeth, a clean-tech company developing high-efficiency alkaline electrolysers, has signed an agreement with Uniper for the delivery of a HYAEON 25 electrolyser to be installed at Uniper’s Malmö facility. The agreement highlights both companies shared commitment to decarbonisation and clean energy innovation.

Hymeth’s HYAEON electrolyser uses a proprietary electrocatalyst and design that delivers high energy efficiency, helping make hydrogen production more affordable and sustainable.

“Partnering with Uniper is a milestone for Hymeth and a strong endorsement of our technology,” said Anders Johansson, CEO of Hymeth. “Our goal is to make green hydrogen production efficient, scalable and commercially attractive for global industries.”

“Hydrogen is important for achieving a climate-neutral energy system,” commented Mikael Nilsson, Plant Manager at Uniper. “Together with innovative partners like Hymeth, we are shaping a more sustainable energy future.”

This collaboration represents a major step forward for both companies in bringing reliable, efficient hydrogen technologies to commercial deployment.
