Global Hydrogen Review,
At the start of 2026, Longi Hydrogen has successfully shipped its first electrolysis system to Europe, a 5 MW alkaline water electrolysis system tailored to European application requirements.
The system is fully aligned with CE requirements, with the electrolyser developed under ASME codes and certified to CE PED, ensuring safety, reliability, and long-term stable operation. It has an integrated, one-stop delivery approach that covering logistics, packaging, and site interface, supports a ‘ready-upon-arrival’ experience, complemented by English and local language documentation for local use. The project also features ergonomic and safety-oriented engineering. The skids are optimised for on-site operation and maintenance, with sufficient inspection space, dedicated lifting solutions for key components, and protective measures for high-temperature piping, enhancing O&M efficiency while safeguarding personnel.
Ma Jun, President of Longi Hydrogen, commented: “Europe is one of the most certain markets for green hydrogen and among the most rigorous in terms of standards. The successful delivery of this first system validates both our technology and engineering execution, and marks a solid step forward in our global journey. We look forward to supporting Europe in building a greener, more stable, and more resilient energy system and contributing to the global energy transition over the long term.”
