Global Hydrogen Review,
GeoPura has acquired key assets and employed skilled personnel from Green Hydrogen Systems (GHS), reinforcing its hydrogen capabilities and laying the groundwork for its European expansion.
Under the agreement, GeoPura has taken ownership of all spare parts, tools, and fixtures related to the A-Series electrolyser platform. In addition, former GHS employees with deep technical expertise in the support, design, and operation of A-Series electrolysers have joined the GeoPura team. Their knowledge ensures GeoPura can continue to operate, maintain, and further improve its A-Series fleet with full continuity.
GeoPura has used GHS electrolysers for several years and the acquisition builds on a longstanding collaboration with the teams behind the technology.
To support this transition and enable future growth, GeoPura has established its first overseas business: GeoPura (Europe) ApS. Based in Denmark, this new entity will serve as a hub for electrolyser support and improvement and provide the foundation for the continued roll out of GeoPura’s hydrogen power units (HPUs) across Europe.
Andrew Cunningham, CEO of GeoPura, said: “We’re pleased to welcome a group of talented specialists who bring critical knowledge and experience to our team. This move not only strengthens our technical capabilities but also sets the stage for our expansion into new markets. It’s a major step forward in our mission to deliver clean, reliable hydrogen power at scale.”
GeoPura’s HPUs are already replacing diesel generators across sectors such as construction, broadcasting, events, and infrastructure. The new Danish operation will support the company’s continued growth and help meet rising demand for zero-emission power solutions across Europe.
