Nikkiso CE & IG has announced its participation in the bunkering installation design of a new complete liquid hydrogen bunkering installation for Unitrove.

The companies have signed an MoU to advance hydrogen solutions that incorporate Howden’s gas compression systems into Chart Industries’ hydrogen offerings.

The companies will explore the use of hydrogen and carbon capture to help reduce emissions at the Southampton industrial cluster in the UK.

The companies have agreed to undertake a feasibility study to repurpose coal-fired power stations for the generation of green hydrogen.

Clariant is participating in Germany’s TransHyDE project, AmmoRef, which is aimed at developing process technologies and catalysts for ammonia cracking to facilitate hydrogen transport.
