Flow Safe selected as voucher recipient by US DOE to pave the way for clean energy adoption

Flow Safe, the only PRV manufacturer selected for DOE vouchers opportunities, will work in collaboration with Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL), serving as the voucher provider. The DOE's Voucher Opportunity 2 aims to expedite the integration of clean energy solutions into various industries, promoting sustainability and environmental stewardship.
Andrew Roberts, Director of Engineering & Quality, Flow Safe, said: "We are honoured to be chosen as a Voucher Recipient Organization by the Department of Energy. This collaboration with LLNL underscores our dedication to advancing clean energy technologies and promoting sustainable solutions for the future."
As part of the Research and Development (R&D) testing facilitated by LLNL, Flow Safe's PRVs will undergo cycle testing on cryo-compressed hydrogen. This marks a significant step in the utilisation of CCH2 as an emerging energy source, particularly within the heavy transport trucking industry.
Roberts added: "Our participation in this initiative demonstrates a significant milestone in the advancement of clean energy technologies. Being selected as the sole PRV manufacturer showcases our expertise and leadership in the overpressure protection industry."
