In collaboration with WEC Energy Group, the Electric Power Research Institute, and Burns & McDonnell, Wärtsilä has been contracted to carry out hydrogen fuel testing at the A.J. Mihm power plant in Michigan, US.
Verne Global and Landsvirkjun have announced a collaboration whereby Verne Global will trial and deploy hydrogen fuel cells to produce reliable and sustainable back-up power for its Icelandic data centre campus.
The €200 million raised will be used for the construction of installations on a number of geographic areas, including Europe, that will be producing synthetic green hydrogen-based fuels, or “e-fuels,” for land and sea transportation, and the aviation industry.
