First hydrogen applies for UK government net zero funding

The Net Zero HYdrogen Fund is part of the UK Government’s initiatives to promote the production of home-grown green hydrogen and is a means to achieving the ambitious 10 GW of domestic production by 2030, of which ‘at least’ 5 GW will need to be from electrolytic sources.

 
 

Vestas pioneers hydrogen-powered offshore service vessel

In collaboration with Windcat Workboats, Vestas is launching a pilot programme to explore how the world’s first hydrogen-powered crew transfer vessel can help reduce carbon emissions from its offshore service operations.

 
 

Elogen signs LOI with Charbone Hydrogène

Elogen has signed a non-binding LOI with Charbone Hydrogène. Under this agreement, Elogen will supply Charbone Hydrogène with PEM electrolysers for a total capacity of up to 100 MW over a period of four years.

 
 
 
 
 
 

Equinor and SSE Thermal acquire Triton Power

The companies are buying Triton Power from Energy Capital Partners, an energy transition infrastructure investor, and are starting preparations to use hydrogen in the Saltend Power Station.
