Electric Hydrogen HYPRPlant cuts electrolysis plant costs by 60%

Global Hydrogen Review,

Electric Hydrogen has announced its HYPRPlant has reduced total installed costs for clean hydrogen projects by up to 60%, due to PEM technology.

The single plant design offers configurable electrolysis capacity from 80 MW - 120MW and can produce an average of 1500 - 2300 kg/h of hydrogen. It is a compact 4500 m2 and fully deploys in under 6 months, from first shipment to plant commissioning.

The HYPRPlant, formerly named the 100 MW Plant, is Electric Hydrogen’s first complete, full-scope electrolyser solution designed to produce the lowest cost green hydrogen for critical industries at scale.

The fully-integrated plant includes all required sub-systems with the world’s most powerful electrolysers, using Electric Hydrogen’s proprietary technology, at the core to enable ultra low-cost electrolysis.

Electric Hydrogen is building electrolyser plants in factories using commoditised components and an offsite, modular pre-assembly model to enable swift and certain deployment at the project site.
