Air Products will bolster its presence in the UK hydrogen market with a £6.5 million investment in a trailer and cylinder filling station at its Llanwern hydrogen facility in South Wales.
The new hydrogen production unit, with the capacity to produce over 20 000 tpy will produce hydrogen that is partly renewable, thanks to the recycling of residual biogas from the Grandpuits biorefinery, in place of the natural gas that is normally used.
