Global Hydrogen Review,

Sungrow Hydrogen recently signed a cooperation agreement with China Tianying Inc. for the Tianying Green Hydrogen, Green Ammonia and Green Methanol Project.

Sungrow Hydrogen will deliver 16 sets of 1000 Nm³/h ALK hydrogen production system, including ALK electrolysers, PWM hydrogen production power supply, gas-liquid separation equipment and hydrogen purification equipment for this project.

The project, located in Jilin, Liaoyuan City, China, aims to build a new energy industry system that integrates power generation, consumption, energy storage, and application. Its planned installed capacity of wind and solar power is approximately 2.6 GW, and it is expected to produce 150 000 tpy of green hydrogen and 800 000 tpy of green methanol in the future.

The project is the third order that Sungrow Hydrogen has won in Jilin province. Prior to this project, Sungrow Hydrogen had won the tenders of the Baicheng Distributed Power Generation Hydrogen Production and Hydrogenation Integrated Demonstration Project and the Da'an Wind-solar Green Hydrogen and Ammonia Integrated Demonstration Project in 2021 and 2023. Both of these projects have been delivered successfully.
