LBC Vlissingen (LBC) are to launch the open season for ammonia storage and ammonia cracking capacity at their terminal, currently under development at the North Sea Port, Vlissingen, the Netherlands.
Using a CCU solution, the aim is to remove up to 145 000 tpy of CO2 from the flue gas of the existing ammonia production and use them in the urea production. Additional green hydrogen feedstock will also be sourced from new water electrolysis units powered by renewable energy.
